Below is an overview of some campus activities:
Madison Center for Civic Engagement implements year-round voter education and engagement initiatives, integrates civic learning opportunities into academic programs, provides resources for informed civic participation, assesses civic learning with JMU’s Center for Assessment & Research Studies, and collaborates with community and national partners on related initiatives and events.
Better Conversations Together Orientation Program helps students move from understanding themselves and their roles in free speech and difficult conversations to being able to find common ground for solving wicked problems.
JMU assess every student in civic engagement in partnership with the Madison Center and Center for Assessment and Research Studies (CARS).
