Below is an overview of some campus activities:
- The Indiana University Center on Representative Government is developing a new app, “Democracy Quest,” which will take high schoolers on an immersive virtual-reality journey through the inner workings of representative government and help them build real-life skills of advocacy, compromise, and consensus building.
- PACE (Political and Civic Engagement Program) is an undergraduate certificate program that combines academic study with hands-on learning to give students unique preparation for political and civic engagement.
- Indiana Civic Health Index seeks to strengthen civic life in Indiana by elevating discussion of the state’s civic health. Its annual reports identify patterns related to the civic engagement of Hoosiers and discuss the implications of these trends for building a civically engaged Indiana.
