Activation Plan
Below is an overview of some campus activities:
- The Office of Engaged Pluralism (EP) promotes engagement across difference. Working Groups, the main engine of EP, are dedicated to a single topic or issue and meet regularly over the course of the semester to create and design projects that build community. Igniter Pitches fund projects from idea to implementation that foster belonging, equity and community building. EP also offers workshops, events, screenings, talks, and other engagement opportunities.
- Vassar will continue to support civic engagement through student voter registration efforts and its support of on-campus polling locations. The College earned the right to host a polling site in 2022 to ensure students’ voices are heard.
