Activation Plan

Below is an overview of some campus activities:

  • Community partners will join the campus in a Democratic Engagement Alliance to build new opportunities for student civic engagement in the community.
  • The Center for Student Engagement will host a series of workshops for faculty members to learn about civic education strategies, including a new workshop on how to respond to “misinformation” about the candidates, elections, or issues.
  • The University will establish an Otterbein Pluralism Collaborative to engage students in dialogue and service to break down barriers to constructive conversation and action. Otterbein recently received a grant from Interfaith America to support this initiative and engage students in the leadership of the project.
