The free exchange of ideas and viewpoints through difficult conversations, bold actions and tough truths encourages students, faculty, and staff to be open to differences, and to engage in impactful citizenship throughout life, and to apply what we know and learn for the benefit of communities locally, nationally and globally.

Below is an overview of some campus activities:
- The Critical Conversations Speaker Series at Quinnipiac fosters an inclusive and intellectually stimulating environment promoting inclusivity of thought, respectful dialogue, empathetic engagement, and open-mindedness among students, faculty and staff.
- The Civic Leadership Program enriches the experience for students pursuing any major within the College of Arts and Sciences. Working together with dedicated academic advisers, students curate a course schedule that exposes them to new ideas and perspectives, challenging them to think critically about how to create a better future for themselves and their fellow citizens.
- The Bobcat Community Health Alliance (BCHA) seeks to improve health outcomes for underserved local communities by providing resources, high-quality health outreach and forging strong relationships with community leaders.
- The Human Trafficking Prevention Project is a student-run organization in the Quinnipiac School of Law that explores the interactions between trafficking victims and the legal system and delves into ongoing debates at the state and federal levels about what reforms are needed to assist victims in escaping trafficking, rebuilding their lives and preventing this practice.
- The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program matches accounting students in the School of Business with low-income residents in the community to help with income-tax preparation and filing under the guidance of faculty who are certified public accountants.
- The Prison Project at Quinnipiac is an interdisciplinary group of faculty, staff and students driven to improve social justice and reduce mass incarceration via education, advocacy and re-entry work. Our faculty teach inside several state prisons, including the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution, a maximum-security facility and the largest prison in New England.
- The Quinnipiac-ConnCat Academy of Entrepreneurship offers an entrepreneurship training program and ongoing support for members of underserved communities who seek to start or expand their business.
