Below is an overview of some campus activities:
- St. Lawrence University was designated as one of ALL IN’s Most Engaged Campuses for College Student Voting.
- SLU’s longstanding Civic Dialogue program helps to facilitate, fruitful civic discussions across political differences at SLU. The University is further enhancing its engagement in this arena through a presidential initiative to bring together members of the campus community to build institutional commitment and programming. The goal is to prepare students, faculty, and staff to engage with each other across difference and to strengthen the Laurentian community to navigate polarizing societal forces.
- The University plans to integrate this work into the living-learning First Year Program, encouraging students to speak authentically and in a way that invites and deepens belonging within a community of learners.
