Below is an overview of some campus activities:

MLK Legacy Day features a keynote addressing dimensions and aspects of social responsibility. Recent honorary degree recipient, Mónica Guzmán, offered a special lecture and keynote during her campus visits on bridging divides in polarized times through dialogue and curiosity.

Empowered Bystander Training equips participants with strategies to identify and intervene when witnessing biased or prejudicial behavior.

Political Science Dialogue program provides faculty expertise on critical policy issues relevant to the upcoming elections, allowing students to engage in healthy debate.

The Elephant in the Room Series fosters dialogue on complex social problems, reinforcing our commitment to open discourse on campus.

This semester, Wheaton is offering Organizing 101, a two-part, four-hour training that introduces practical civic organizing techniques based on the Massachusetts Communities Action Network (MCAN) model. This training will provide students, faculty, and staff with the tools to conduct research that can lead to action and drive community transformation.
