Below is an overview of some campus activities:
Hofstra Votes, a civic engagement campaign designed to encourage members of the campus community to register and vote. As part of this effort, Hofstra is hosting campus voter registration events and voting machine demonstrations, as well as lectures, panels, and other events addressing a variety of policy issues and reflecting a range of political views.
Hofstra Law recently marked Constitution Day 2024 by staging a re-enactment of the trial and events leading up to the Supreme Court’s controversial 1944 decision to uphold the constitutionality of interning Japanese-Americans solely on the basis of their race.
