Activation Plan
Below is an overview of some campus activities:
- The establishment of an intercultural dialogue center is a key initiative within the Strategic Action Plan, which received approval from the Board of Trustees in August 2024. A dedicated working group is actively involved in the planning process.
- During the recent fall election, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and student election interns created a coordinated approach to host events and provide resources. Themes of the work include opportunities to learn about the policy issues and election process, voter engagement, civil discourse, and support for mental wellbeing and resiliency.
- The College of Wooster plans to create meaningful learning opportunities starting at Orientation for learning why and how to develop skills in civic discourse and debate.
