Developing Effective Citizens for a Polarized Country
College Presidents for Civic Preparedness is a coalition of over 100 campus leaders from diverse ideologies and institutions nationwide, united in preparing students for active civic engagement in today’s complex and divided country.
Our priority is ensuring students gain the skills and opportunities to engage in difficult conversations on issues like global conflicts, identity, reproductive rights, climate change, and economic security. These skills empower students to navigate and contribute to society, both personally and professionally.
Guided by three Civic Commitments, presidents collaborate to share insights, address challenges, and create programming aligned with their unique missions, empowering students to engage thoughtfully with the world.
