SUNY Brockport

The Wrapped Love Drive brought together SUNY Brockport student DaJuan Jackson, the university’s Educational Opportunity Program, and Cameron Community Ministries to provide winter clothing, hot meals, and support to Rochester residents experiencing homelessness. With guidance from faculty mentors and support from the Brockport community, Jackson mobilized volunteers, collected more than 400 winter clothing items, and organized a community meal that served hundreds of local residents. The initiative demonstrates how SUNY Brockport empowers students to partner with local organizations and turn compassion into meaningful community action.
