The Tiny Home Initiative at Warren Wilson College brings students together with local nonprofits, businesses, and community partners to help address housing insecurity in western North Carolina. Working alongside organizations like BeLoved Asheville, students design and build energy-efficient tiny homes for families facing housing instability while gaining hands-on experience in construction, project management, and community engagement. By combining experiential learning with community partnership, the initiative expands access to safe, affordable housing while preparing students to create practical solutions to real-world challenges.
