La Roche University partners with local law enforcement and community organizations to help make communities safer while preparing students for careers in public safety. Working alongside partners including the Allegheny County Police, the District Attorney’s Office, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, students analyze real-world data to support investigations, identify crime trends, and inform public safety strategies. By combining hands-on learning with community partnership, the initiative strengthens local public safety while giving students meaningful experience tackling real challenges alongside the professionals who serve their communities.
